I spent last week reading Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s (1929-1968) notes. I suppose last Monday—his actual birthday and the holiday in his honor—would have been the time to post this essay, but I like that I’m posting it now. After all, there’s no reason we should only celebrate King’s life once a year.
