This is fantastic! I visited Albania in 2022 with my (now) husband for 3 weeks. It was our first proper trip together and we fell in love with the country. I really like your drawings and how creatively you’ve expressed your observations. I love to do that too but some where between doing so much work and projects, my vacations turned into workations and I wasn’t able to tune in fully. Thank you for sharing your practice. I remembered my time in Albania as well and will resume my travel sketching practice this time when i travel to Indonesia in 3 days. 🫶

Seven years at Microsoft and I always carried a sketchbook I'd just get to my training sessions (which I delivered) an hour early and do a drawing. Then I'll be drawing at supper engagements.. In end my colleagues just learn to be very cool with it and if I wasn't drawing they'd be worried!

Congratulations with Noted, Jillian. I would really be at a loss without your newsletter. I’ll send you a picture of the pile of notes for my novel. Looking at it all piled up on top of each other makes me think ‘how the hell did I get through this?’ I think we spoke before about the fact I can’t keep notebooks. This is directly linked to my mental disabilities, it’s a long story that I’ll tell you one day, but the only way I can get words of of my head is if they are written on the cheapest bit of paper I can find. I’ve tried so many notebooks and note taking methods but pen or pencil on an A4 sheet of paper stored in a box it’s the only way.
Congratulations again with filling three years with your ideas. Please keep going.
