Now that I’ve shared four expert cooks’ notes, I thought it would be fun to share my own very amateur cooking notes. I’m especially bad at multi-tasking and I get super-overwhelmed in the kitchen. Personally, I don’t love the way that recipes are written in cookbooks; I find them very hard to follow when I’ve got several pots going on a stove. So, I developed my own little shorthand for writing out recipes. This makes the process so much easier. So, join me on this tour of my own personal cooking notes—perhaps it will be of use to other amateur cooks!
